Great place to eat fried fish
Great food and service!! I will return and will highly recommend this restaurant.
Lassie's inn had not reopened when i was there. But the fish is the best. Cooked to perfection.
BUFFALO FISH RIBS....this place is what got me hooked on this part of the fish.
Delicious fish
Good food and Atmosphere......but the seating needs work
Service was great
Fish, fish, and more fish! The catfish fillets are super tender! And crinkle fries and hush puppies make a Southern boy happy! Cards accepted.
Friendly relaxed place. Best catfish in town.
👍 as always. Mr. Mrs. Washington. Great people. Food always consistent..fresh. Clean place..meet good people there.
High in price but very good
Try the big bone buffalo and they okra it amazing
You want good fish old school music this is the place to be I have been having fish Friday at this place for over 20 years love it!
Amazing good and cooked really well, I just wish they give more for ur money.
Because you want the best catfish and buff fish in Arkansas. Plus they have a bit of history to the place; 100 years plus.
This place is a must if your in LR. I took my mom for lunch (to go) after her eye surgery and everything was delicious. She got a medium buffalo meal and I got half buffalo and half catfish steak. We both got okra and slaw, tomato relish and a side pickles and onion. We were too hungry to take a picture but I snapped a pic of the menu for the next time I go. ☺️
The food here is soooo good!!! It makes you want to twist and shout. But remember, there's no dancing at Lassis Inn.
One of the two restaurants in Arkansas to receive the prestigious James Beard Culinary Award. Woo hoo!! Must drop in for the most perfectly fried fish ever. The small dinner has three big pieces of your choice of catfish filets, catfish steaks, or Buffalo fish. I always have the bone in catfish steaks whenever offered. Very good with a bit more flavor than fillets. Fries and slaw with two hush puppies make this a big treat. The fries have a special crunch and are absolutely delicious. Hush puppies are golden nuggets of loaded rustic corn meal, bits of jalapeño and onions. Very good. The slaw was so tasty and light. No heavy mayo here. We also ordered the green tomato relish and fried okra. Wow!! The decor is quaint and the service is great. A true Arkansas historic delight in a hole in the wall blue building just off Interstate 30 near downtown Little Rock.
Possibly the best catfish in the city. It's an intimate and friendly spot. Charmingly old school. Don't let the exterior fool you it's great inside. The picture shows I am not exaggerating!
this resturant is historic. the catfish delicious. met some very nice people..both workers and customers. will return....
One of my favorite places
If you're looking for a party in your mouth, this is where you'll find it. Good, hot, cooked to order, fresh catfish and big boned buffalo. Lawd have mercy!
Very fast and friendly people
The best catfish in the city
Took over 2 hours to get our food and when we got the fish it was crunchy like chips. I am assuming it was a bad day people speak very highly of this place. I was not impressed
Excellent buffalo ribs!
My Mother really enjoyed her Big Bone Buffalo Fish. She also like the fried okra and the Cole slaw. We're very HAPPY with the food at Lassis Inn!
Great food, great atmosphere. Buffalo ribs are my favorite with special catch (2whole catfish) a close second. Worth the price and I’ve never had a long wait. Inducted into the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame’s first round for a reason!
Good fish
Very good fish , reasonable price good quality
Delicious and cooked to order
The fish is always cooked perfectly & it's always good. I started out with catfish filet but my friends like big bone buffalo ribs. I love it too now. In other words, it's 🔥🔥. You've got to experience for yourself. The owner is a sweetheart, making sure his customers feel welcome & appreciated. You won't be disappointed.
It's got a laid back vibe. The regulars keep the blues playing while the staff keep the fish coming. I have lived in the area my whole life but it feels like I found a diamond in the rough . It feels kinda like a family reunion everyone is welcome.
My moms crazy about this place, me personally im not. Tried calling in my order for a hour and the phone line was busy🤔 Get there and had to wait for 45 minutes for food🤔 and nobody food worth that. I want ever come back black owned or not.
Wonderful catfish, fried perfectly. great cole slaw too. Very clean restaurant and great vibe.
I had a take out order, but fish was very good. Nice size portions
This place use to be really good, the best fish really. It's a hit or miss now. You might go one day and it is wonderful and go back the next day and its horrible. We were going every Friday, but the wait time is very long. I ordered at 6:15, but got there a little after 8 and my order wasn't ready. He said that he could barely hear me over the phone. You never get an apology or compensation for the long wait times. The owner is very arrogant. We ordered drinks and the plastic cups still had dishwashing liquid at the bottom, so she brought us styrofoam cups, then charged us because she said those were for take out orders only. I would say go at your own risk. You might be pleased, then maybe not. I will most likely go back, but no time soon.
A little pricey, but the food is freshly made to order.
Lots of atmosphere, catfish fillets are good, limited menu (catfish or buffalo), canned drinks served with a glass of ice, fairly good list of sides, including fried okra and green tomato relish. This place was open many years before I-30 was built next to it. The uncomfortable wooden pews in each booth were built in 1947 and the restaurant was open for decades prior. This is a popular neighborhood restaurant in a black area, but lots of white folks enjoy it too. If you haven't been once, you should try it. The sign by the jukebox says "No Dancing," but I've heard that after the beer has been flowing. . .
Nice down home feel. The fish is excellent.
